Aysel ÖztÜrk

Aysel Öztürk is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at Koç University. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Galatasaray University. She completed her masters in the Cultural Studies Department at Istanbul Şehir University. During her time in Istanbul Şehir University as an MA student, she worked as a project assistant in the Tubitak project titled “The Socio-economic and Cultural Transformation of Rural Space: Modernizing and Disappearing Traditional Spaces and Meanings”. In addition, she worked as a researcher in the fieldwork of the project titled “Agricultural Transformation and Labor Market in Gediz Plain”.
